Zion and Bryce ADV Itinerary
Zion and Bryce ADV-Zion NP, Bryce Canyon NP, Dixie NF. A two day easy adventure trip exploring Zion, Bryce and some great terrain in between.
Total Cost : $1700
Day 1- Arrive at your leisure in time for an orientation and welcome dinner to begin at 4:30 local time.
Day 2- 5 hrs. 113 miles. Virgin to Bryce through DNF.
Departing from The Office we begin the epic ride through Zion National Park. The first 70 miles are pavement and then we venture onto relatively well maintained dirt roads all the way to Bryce Canyon City (45 miles). We’ll have time for the requisite stop at the visitor center today and check out the stunning vistas tomorrow.
Day 3- 5.5 hrs. 155 miles. Bryce to Zion through Cannonville, Deer Springs Ranch Airport.
After breakfast we set out to see Bryce Point and Rainbow Point. From Rainbow Point we’ll be have a great view of where we were yesterday and where we’re going today! Once we leave Bryce we’ll lose elevation quickly and pick up the dirt for 50 miles before going through Zion again. Yes, it’s worth it. Though if a shorter second day is preferred we certainly have options including pavement all the way home requiring about 3.5 hours of saddle time.
