Big 3 Itinerary

3 Days, 3 Nights, all pavement to Zion, Bryce Canyon and the Grand Canyon National Parks.

Total Cost : $2550

Day 1 - Arrive at your leisure in time for an orientation and welcome dinner to begin at 4:30 local time.

Day 2 - Saddle time : 4-5 hours, Mileage-120-200

Meet for breakfast and planning at 7:00, geared up and warmed up by 8:45 and wheels rolling by 9:00. Today we’ll travel through Zion National Park stopping often at the overlooks and pullouts. We’ll pass through Kanab, Fredonia and Jacob Lake on our way to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon National Park. We’ll swing by Cape Royal on our way to the Visitor Center and spend the night at either the North Rim Lodge, Kaibab Lodge or Jacob Lake Inn depending on availability.

Day 3- Saddle time: 4-5 hours, Mileage -140-210

Keeping the same morning schedule as yesterday we’ll head back through Kanab and up toward the Dixie National Forest. We’ll get to ride along the Sevier River through Red Canyon and into Bryce Canyon. It is a 30 mile round trip taking at least an hour to ride out Rainbow Point at the end of the road and another required stop is Sunset Point. We’ll spend the evening just outside Bryce Canyon at one of the hotels and enjoy our final dinner together.

Day 4 -

Saddle time: 2 hours, Mileage - 90

After our morning routine we have the option of a shorter day traveling back to Springdale (we get to go back through Zion) or we can add about an hour to our trip. The longer option (Saddle time: 3 hours, Mileage 140) takes us through the Dixie National Forest, over to Cedar Breaks National Monument, through Cedar City and down a short stretch of interstate before we wrap-up our ride.
